CT Scanner expected for 2022

The Port Perry Hospital Foundation announces it surpassed its $4 million fundraising goal and projects a mid-2022 installation date for a CT scanner.

The Port Perry Hospital Foundation announced it has surpassed its $4 million fundraising goal, reaching $4.15 million, almost a year ahead of schedule.

In a press release, the Foundation announced it expects the much await CT scanner will be installed in mid-2022, "notwithstanding further forces beyond [its] control", referencing potential uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Omicron variant.

Port Perry Pedals contributed over $40,000 to the campaign in 2021 as part of its inaugural charitable road cycling event which hosted 200 participants from across Ontario.
